Lets get right into the more simpler math explinations.

Right now I am explaining Pre-Algebra addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

The first thing you want to do is add together the similar numbers like 10 and 66. They are similar because they have the same variable which is no variabel. 10 and 66 are on opposite sides of the equal sign, so one of them has to move. You cannot just take 10 and add it to 66, since it is on the opposite side, you have to make 10 opposite as well. The opposite of 10 is -10, so now it will look like this.

As you probably know 66-10 is 56. Now you have to divide 56 by the number that is being multiplied. 7 is the only number here being multiplied and it is being multiplied by x. 56 divided by 7 is 8, so now it will look like this.

As you can now tell the answer is x=8. The same thing works when minusing numbers as well, but, say it was -10 to start with then, you would make it opposite and add it to 66.

Here are some questions you can try to answer. Write your answer in the box and click submit, if can't figure it out click the answer button. Write like x=50 and not 50x or 50.

Now we are going into multiplying and division with variables.

To solve this it's as simple as just multiplication. You multiply 5 and 8 which is 40, then you x times x is not 2x, but rather it is now squared because it is multiplied by itself. Now it is 40 and x² and when you times these together you get.

40x²

Now here is an example of variables being divided. For this one you might need a calculator.

7x÷4=28

To solve this you have to divide 7 by 4 which if you used a calculator it would give you 1.75x. You take 1.75 and divide 28 by it and the answer would be 16 so now it would look like.

x=16

As you can obviously tell the answer is x=16.

Write as 50x(not the answer) for the first one, but as x=50(not the answer) for the second one.
